Bosch Indego Robot Mower Reviews

Bosch Indego Robotic Lawnmowers Reviewed (2020)

I remember reading something about there being more of small lawns than large lawns. With that said, Bosch has been designing their robot mowers for those smaller lawns in particular:

  1. Bosch Indego 350
  2. Bosch Indego S+ 350 Connect
  3. Bosch Indego 400
  4. Bosch Indego S+ 400 Connect

It’s German quality stuff, but they’re also more expensive than some other robotic mowers on the market set out to cover similarly sized lawns.

Each of them has all the essential mowing, safety, and security features (bump, tilt, lift, & turnover sensors; PIN code and alarm), but also the LogiCut Intelligent Navigation System which allows them to know exactly where to mow, systematically in parallel rows at that, as well as AUTO scheduling.

They might look super similar in every way possible, but there are a few differences to them. For one, the “connected” versions include remote control via an app provided there was Wi-Fi signal. The 2nd difference is to do with how they’re programmed. Apart from that, yes, they’re basically the exact same product in most aspects.

For negatives, their traction ability on wet grass at a slope is not ideal. But that’s really the only negative in my opinion (apart from the higher price).

1) Bosch Indego 350 Review (2020)

It is meant for small lawns up to 350 m² (or 0.087 ac.) with slopes no steeper than 15° (or 27 percent). It’s otherwise an autonomous robotic lawnmower running on electricity and using 18 V 2.5 Ah lithium-ion rechargeable battery. It’s got 3 pivoting small blades for a cutting system that mulches grass pretty quietly (up to 63 dB) while maintaining your lawn at a cutting height of 30-50 mm (or 1.18″ to 1.97″). Who’s Behind the Bosch Indego Robotic Lawnmowers?

Robert Bosch GmbH as a company dates all the way back to 1886, a backyard in Germany (back then it was called, in German: “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering“). They’ve come a long way since.

Anything more interesting to add to that? Nah, not really. It’s German.*

I do have the 700M+ Version and have never seen a worse app related to a mower.
You have to have a pin configured(not optional) Now every time the mower gets stuck because of some reason, or it’s wet and the mower thinks it’s too steep, one cannot use the app to send the mower back to the base station, or do anything with the app for that matter, unless one goes to the mower and enters the pin on the mower. This is so absolutely brain dead as I have an app to exactly do that. What would I use an app for otherwise.
I would everyone to keep away from this product as you will also not get any response from their help center or product support page.
There are much better products on the market.

I second that. And now for two weeks, the app cannot be used. I mean it does connect to the robot, and tells me the status, but calendar, weather, location etc. just times out. No response from Bosch support whatsoever. Would no recommend this product to anyone.
